ARH2050 Art History: Ancient to Renaissance (AA)

A comparative exploration of art, architecture and design from the Paleolithic period to the Renaissance. Various art forms will be studied critically with regard to their formal qualities, as well as the larter context of world events and philosophy. Emphasis will be placed on the artist's role in society. (*)
