ARH2051 Art History: Renaissance to Contemporary (AA)

A comparative exploration of art, architecture and design from the Renaissance to the present. Various art forms will be studied critically with regard to their formal qualities, as well as the larger context of world events and philosophy. Emphasis will be placed on the artist's role in society. (*)
