RET3354 Medical Pharmacology (BS)

This course gives students a broad understanding of pharmaceutical therapies for acute and chronic illness in patients with cardiopulmonary disease. Topics include the identification of drug classes, administration techniques, elimination as well as research and development. The course emphasizes application to cardiopulmonary systems as well as analgesic, sedation and anesthetic agents for critical and emergency care.
