HCP0120 Nursing Assistant (CCP)
This segment introduces the student to the overall concept of practical nursing, problem solving, responsibilities and roles in the interrelationships of various disciplines of the health team, and verbal, nonverbal and written communications. The content addresses people of various ages and cultures, establishes a foundation of nursing skills that extends the student's understanding of his/her role in giving patient care in a variety of situations with patients of all ages, and prepares the student to take the state nursing assistant certification exam.
