RET4524 Patient Education and Disease Management in the Community (BS)

This course is an introduction to the evolving role of the respiratory therapist in community health care with a focus on patient education for those with respiratory disease. Discussions will include educational methodologies and strategies involving disease self-management for acute and chronic cardiopulmonary illness, community health policy and state/local emergency management.
