This course presents various aspects of criminal law and case law the law enforcement officer encounters in his/her everyday activities. The course will highlight and emphasize those areas of criminal law and case law such as search and seizure, use of force, juvenile law and civil issues. Students will participate in practical experience exercises, scenarios and role playing to develop necessary skills. This course presents the foundation of modern law enforcement. Topics include: Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.
