POR1120 Elementary Portuguese 1 (AA)
This class provides opportunities to develop the basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Portuguese, with an emphasis on the spoken language. The course drills pronunciation, vocabulary building and elementary grammar and composition. Cultural aspects of Portuguese-speaking populations will be discussed.
