This course provides a comprehensive overview of the pipe trade industry, focusing on career and training opportunities. Students will gain foundational knowledge of the industry, including the use and maintenance of essential tools. Emphasizing the importance of health, safety and environmental management systems, the course highlights their role in enhancing organizational performance and ensuring regulatory compliance. Students will also develop basic mathematics and science skills critical to the trade and learn to read and interpret construction documents and current pipe trade codes. This course equips students with the essential skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the pipe trade industry.
