Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College

As part of Palm Beach State College's commitment to high achievement, the Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College is designed for students who seek challenging co-curricular and service-learning experiences in their Associate in Arts degree. The Honors College develops students to make interdisciplinary, real-life connections and excel in leadership skills to prepare them to thrive as they transfer to a university and future careers.

Students in the Honors College have access to small class sizes, early registration access, and a learning environment that develops critical thinking and research skills through in-depth class discussions, and engagement of analytical thinking. Honors College Faculty integrate one or more of the following within their curriculum: scholarship, critical thinking, global awareness, research, communication, and civic engagement and leadership.

Honors College graduates are given special recognition at their graduation ceremony. The distinction will be noted on their academic transcript, and the seal of the Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College will appear on their degree.
