This course covers a diverse range of classroom and hands-on laboratory activities designed to familiarize students with the fundamental standards of professional salons. This course emphasizes developing essential skills in communication, computational techniques, and understanding critical scientific concepts relevant to the field. Aspiring cosmetologists will be exposed to the fundamental principles of the salon business, gaining vital knowledge in client relations, employment retention, and personal growth, which is essential for a successful career in the industry. Through immersive practical sessions, students will acquire competence in essential salon procedures, such as shampooing and scalp manipulations. Students will receive an introduction to hairstyling and haircutting. During lab sessions, students will develop the ability to enhance their speed and skills.
