CTS2148 IT Project Management Project+ (AS)
Prerequisite: CIS2513 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course prepares students for the CompTIA Project+ certification exam while reinforcing foundational knowledge in IT project management principles and practices. Students will explore project characteristics, methodologies, and frameworks commonly used in IT environments, including both traditional and agile approaches. The course covers essential project management competencies including team and resource management, change control processes, risk and issue management, schedule development, quality assurance, cost management, communication strategies, and vendor selection.
