ETD2372C Advanced Rapid Prototyping (AS)
Prerequisite: ETD2371C (with a grade of C or higher)
This course builds upon
ETD2371C with more advanced project applications. Students will explore simulation and design analysis of rapid prototyping. Students will be exposed to current industry practices and the latest technologies through a cooperation with local industry. Students will be able to showcase their creativity, design abilities, and scanning and printing skills through problem solving projects utilizing a variety of 3D printers and scanners and CAD software. Students will be required to work together as a community of designers and prototypers, providing feedback, advice, critique, and guidance to their classmates.
