Fire Standards 1 (Replaces FFP 0030): covers safety, fire behavior, construction, personal protective equipment (PPE), self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), extinguishers, knots, search and victim removal, forcible entry, construction, ladders, ventilation, water supply, fire hose, carrying and advancing hoses, water streams, special fire control, sprinkler systems, fire communications, fire prevention, public education, hazmat training, and the salvage, overhaul and protection of evidence. By completing this course, students can obtain Firefighter 1 certification.
