HFT2949L Hospitality Internship (AS)

Prerequisite: Department permission required. Minimum grade of 2.0 in HFT1000 and HFT1313.

The purpose of this course is to provide on-the-job training. This course makes hands-on hospitality operating principles and training available to students. These opportunities are obtained at an approved off-campus hospitality business. Various control systems necessary for profitability and quality are examined. Provides students a basic understanding of hospitality principles and service management.
