Prerequisite: ACG2071 (with a grade of C or higher)
Corequisites:
HIM2512C and HIM2272C (with a grade of C or higher)
The course covers the planning, control, organization and leadership of healthcare facility services. Financial management concepts as applied to health care services also are examined, including budget, pricing, charging, revenue and financial strategies. The focus will be on the acute care setting, with coverage of similar concepts as they pertain to other health care organizations.
