HUS3323 Crisis Intervention (BS)
Prerequisite: HUS1001 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course introduces students to crisis intervention theories, models, and specific intervention techniques, and student develop basic skills for helping in crisis situations. The range of topics covered includes disaster response, remote crisis counseling, culturally appropriate response strategies, the role of law enforcement, and ethical considerations.
