MNA1949 Industry Work Experience (AS)
Prerequisite: Completing an approved Palm Beach State Career Certificate Program, technical college industrial program, or Florida Department of Education apprenticeship program with official transcript verification and department chair or program director approval.
This course awards college credit for documented technical competencies gained through successful completion of approved Career Certificate Programs (CCP), technical college industrial programs, or Florida Department of Education apprenticeship programs. Students demonstrate mastery of industry-specific skills, safety protocols, and hands-on technical knowledge acquired in fields such as manufacturing and production technology, construction and building trades, automotive service technology, electronics and computer technology, transportation technology, cosmetology, and other approved technical specializations. Credit is awarded upon verification of program completion with satisfactory grades, submission of official transcripts, and departmental review of competency alignment with program standards. This course recognizes prior learning and provides the technical foundation for advancing into supervisory and management roles within the student's field of expertise.
