RTE4116 Advanced Patient Care (BS)
Advanced patient care skills are essential to providing high-quality patient care during radiologic examination. This course focuses on age-appropriate care, patient education, assessment, communication, preprocedural and postprocedural care, and proper charting and documentation. A review of pharmacology in imaging and the technologist's responsibilities and intervention in cases of critical patient needs are discussed.
