MEA1355 Physician Reimbursement and Revenue (AS)
Prerequisite: MEA1304 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course covers the purpose of medical insurance, the variety of plans, the payments of benefits, the abstracting of medical information from charts, and the processing of claims and coding for insurance purposes. Practice in preparing and filing insurance forms is provided.
