COS0150 Introduction to Barbering (CCP)
Corequisites: VPI0100, VPI0200, VPI0300
This course provides proficiency in hair shampooing and scalp treatments. Lectures center on history and career opportunities, life skiils, professional image, communicating for success, infection control, properties of hair and scalp, shampooing, rinsing and conditioning. Instruction consists of both classroom and laboratory activities, which are designed to achieve salon/industry standards and comply with State Board law.
