NUR3119 Heritage of Nursing Concepts/Theories (BS)

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the RN-BSN program Corequisite: NUR3825 (with a grade of C or higher)

The course focuses on philosophical and theoretical foundations and concept development related to nursing. Students conceptualize nursing theories and models applicable to historical and contemporary practices. Students bridge the gap between theories related to research, education, leadership and evidence-based practice and examine how each influences health care delivery and nursing practice.
