NUR3125 Advanced Pathophysiology for Nursing (BS)

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the RN-BSN program Corequisite: NUR3825 (with a grade of C or higher)

This course teaches the advanced study of pathophysiology and symptomatology across the life span. The focus is on alterations in physiologic functions, manifestation of disease, and signs, symptoms, and diagnostic findings of common alterations. Evidence-based nursing interventions and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote adaptation of various physiological alterations will be explored.
