PLA2631C Real Estate Transactions and Settlement (AS)
Prerequisites:
ENC1101, PLA1003 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course provides lecture and lab instruction in Florida real estate law and transactions. Students learn fundamental concepts of property ownership, conveyances, contracts, deeds, encumbrances, title insurance, recording, and land use regulations. Through transaction-based lab exercises, students use industry software to conduct title searches, prepare real estate documents, and complete closing procedures. Emphasis is placed on the practical skills and legal knowledge required of paralegals in real estate transactions.
