PRN0098 Concepts of Fundamentals of Practical Nursing 1 (CCP)
This course introduces the student to the health care delivery system and the roles and responsibilities of the practical nurse as a member of the health care team. Content includes nursing concepts of practice related to the health care recipient, health and illness, and professional nursing and health care.. Students will learn safety measures and emergency preparedness which includes certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In addition to theory, development of nursing skills and clinical experiences will foster critical thinking and clinical judgement.
