PRN0690 Transitions into Practical Nursing (CCP)
Prerequisites: PRN0098, PRN0099, PRN0290, PRN0291 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course provides the opportunity for synthesis of the knowledge, skills and professional values needed to transition to the role of a practical nurse. Professional care concepts of communication and leadership will be examined. In addition, the nursing concepts of reproduction, growth and development, safety , care giving, and patient education will be applied to the maternal/newborn, child populations and their families.
