PRN0291 Concepts of Practical Nursing 2 (CCP)

Prerequisites: PRN0098, PRN0099, PRN0290 (with a grade of C or higher)

This course stresses application of previously learned nursing concepts of practice and their interrelated concepts. Introduction to the nursing concepts of fluid/electrolytes, acid base, cellular regulation, inflammation, cognition, mood and affect and anxiety will occur. Professional care concepts of clinical judgment, technology and informatics, collaboration and care coordination are integrated. Students will build their nursing skills to provide safe patient care in a variety of health care settings.
