ACR0430 Components of Commercial HVAC & R Systems (CCP)
Corequisites: VPI0100, VPI0200, VPI0300
This course provides in-depth training in operating and maintaining commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Students will learn to select appropriate commercial compressors, test and adjust evaporative condensers, and maintain and troubleshoot commercial evaporators. The course also covers the fundamentals of piping sizing for HVAC systems and the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial heating systems. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills necessary to ensure efficient performance and upkeep of commercial HVAC equipment.
