DIM0320 Diesel Electrical and Electronics Technician (CCP)
Prerequisite: DIM0010 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course will introduce the student to the fundamentals and principles of basic electrical theory, the operation of electrical systems, electrical component measurement, and computation for diesel technology. The student will also perform lab and shop procedures in the following areas: tool use and organization, personal safety and environmental practices, and diesel shop organization and management. The course will also provide the student with skills relating to workplace communication and employment as well as offer optional work experience training.
