DIM0321 Diesel Engine Performance (CCP)
Prerequisite: DIM0150 (with a grade of C or higher)
This course will enable the student to apply electrical skills previously learned and advance to electronic component identification and working principles. The student will test, service and repair electronic diesel systems in a lab/shop environment. The student will perform lab and shop procedures in the following areas: tool use and organization, personal safety and environmental practices, and diesel shop organization and management. The course will also provide the student with skills relating to workplace communication and employment as well as offer optional work experience training.
