Program Description

Course content includes standard telecommunication operating procedures for police, fire and emergency medical services. This course is the certification course for all Public Safety Telecommunicators.

Admission Requirements

• Have a standard high school diploma or GED;
• Complete an Application for Admission, located at www.palmbeachstate.edu/admissions/Admissions-Applications.

Completion Requirements

Student must pass the mid-term and final exam with a 80% or better and must have a final average of 80% to pass the course.

Program Length

232 hours of required course material as well as an additional 16 hours for state certification examination preparation.
