Specialized training/industry certifications, ASE Certified Master Mechanic Medium-Heavy Truck Certification (T2 through T7*)
OR
ASE School Bus Certification (S1 through S6)
AND
Six years as a medium or heavy truck technician or school bus technician and demonstrated competency in teaching the discipline.
*Note: Master Medium-Heavy Truck Technicians certified for the first time after January 2017 must have T8. Technicians who recertify after January 2017 must add T8. |
For all Faculty: Ability to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom; must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course.
Coursework within the degree must reflect competencies in the courses to be taught.
