Program Description

The Building Construction Specialist program is focused on developing the competencies necessary for a successful career in construction management. The program provides both core content and integrative, hands-on education in the areas of materials and methods, cost estimating, scheduling and planning, and leadership. Students also will learn about building information modeling, site logistics, and mobilization.

Program Length

The program can be finished in one year if you attend full time or 1.5 years if you attend part time.

The program is offered at the Lake Worth campus.

Construction management graduates typically start their career as an entry-level technician or field engineer and can grow in the industry to obtain career positions such as, but not limited to:
