Program Description

This program offers a sequence of courses that provides rigorous content aligned with academic standards and technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers. These careers include project managers and professional positions that incorporate IT project management strategies in their business activities within the Information Technology career cluster. The program provides technical skill proficiency, and competency-based applied learning that contributes to students' academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the information Technology career cluster.

The content includes a balance of business and technology components and allows the student to gain additional skills in the area of project management.
