Accreditation Statement
Palm Beach State College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges. The College undergoes an institutional reaffirmation process for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) every 10 years.
Palm Beach State College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Palm Beach State College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Quality of Courses
The course name and number of PBSC Online courses shall be the same as traditional in-class courses. The course goals and objectives, learning outcomes, and the time frame for completion of all instructional activities will also be equivalent to the traditional in-class courses.
Curriculum
Academic Services maintains course outlines for the courses offered at Palm Beach State College (www.palmbeachstate.edu/utilities/CourseOutlines). From these course outlines, faculty/instructors create individual class syllabus. The course outlines are continuously updated through curriculum actions and State Course Numbering System transactions. PBSC Online classes use the same course outline as face-to-face classes.
