Accreditation Steps
- Send accreditation reports to VPAA at least four weeks in advance of sending the report to the accrediting agency.
- Send accreditation visitation schedule to VPAA prior to the visit and make sure VPAA is invited to the exit interview
- Send a copy of any recommendations received from the accrediting agency to VPAA; also send a copy of the follow-up report to the VPAA prior to being sent to the agency.
- Send a copy of all yearly reports sent to accrediting agencies to VPAA.
- VPAA notifies SACSCOC Liaison of any changes to program accreditation status.
- SACSCOC Liaison notifies accrediting agencies of any significant changes, changes to accreditation status; or other updates impacting accurate representation of the college as appropriate per SACSCOC Accrediting Decisions of Other Agencies Policy Statement.
